Come and enjoy the day at the Seal Beach car show. I love to walk up main street and look at all of the vintage cars. I am even sponsoring a trophy this year for best modified 55-57. There will be music, food and fun all day and I think it is one of the best times in town. I’m sure I will see you there.

Tonight’s concert was just fabulous!  The Kelly Fitzgerald Group kept the audience excited on a cool breezy Seal Beach evening.  Their renditions of Maggie May, Me and Bobbie McGee, and Have You Ever Seen the Rain? were outstanding!  Kelly Fitzgerld is a powerful performer in her own right and the band did a good job on the guitar, bass, and drums.

The smoothie from the nearby shop helped, too.

Seal Beach has been hosting summer series of music concerts annually for several years.  The 2008 free summer concert series will be weekly on Wednesday nights beginning July 23 at the Seal Beach pier.  The program begins at 6pm.

Here is the concert series lineup:

July 16 – Jonathan Blake – acoustic, alternative, and blues rock

July 23 – Kelly Fitzgerald Group – folk, blues, and rock

July 30 – The Regular Guys – rock

August 6 – Danny Dean and the Homewreckers – rockabilly and blues

August 13 – The Elm Street Band – classic rock

August 20 – The Eliminators – surf

These events are sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and are a nice way to spend an evening listening to music and being kissed by the breezes.  See you there!
