Our neighbor to the south, Huntington Beach, will host the Hurley US Open of Surfing July 18-26, 2009. Crowds up to 500,000 people attend this event in the real Surf City.

The event was first held in 1959 as the West Coast Surfing Championships.  The event has evolved in the last 50 years to become this exciting event with a brand new sponsor.

I was noticing on my walk in town today how warm it is even though it is overcast.  I walked over to the new houses on Marina and 4th Street and got to take a sneak preview inside.  Wow, they are really nice and have a great roof top deck.  I was told they are going to sell one now, so if anyone has any interested give me a call.

Also don’t forget the Tree Party is set for June 27, 2009.  It is a lot of fun, good music and dancing.

I am just writing today about how beautiful it is in Seal Beach.  I walked over to Bogart’s Coffee Shop and got a chi tea, then across the street for a quick walk on the Pier.

I call it my therapy for the day.

I have been so busy the last two months in Real Estate.  I do not read the news paper or listen to any bad news anymore.  I really think all of the bad press really affected my business and me personally.  I just do what I have been doing since 1979 and that is selling Real Estate.

It’s working!

Give me a call if you want to buy or sell a home.  It’s not as bad as they all say.
