We had an earthquake the other day that the USGS reported at 4.7 centered in Lomita.  It created quite a lot of shaking here in Seal Beach, but very little damage locally.

There was one photo in the Los Angeles Time of workers sweeping up debris in a Starbucks in Hawthorne (near the epicenter).

Today, shortly before 4pm there was an aftershock measured to be 4.1.  There was a short jolt here in the area but nothing like the other day.
